Somali Pirates vs American Mercenaries

Somali pirates got more of a fight than they expected when they attacked a cargo ship protected my American mercenaries.

In the video, you can see Somali pirates heading directly toward the cargo ship which is protected by several well-armed American mercenaries for security.

The Somali pirates opened fire as they approached. You cannot hear their gunshots in the video, because they are too far away.

The captain ordered the mercenaries to fire warning shots at the pirates. You’d expect that an armed force on a cargo ship would deter the pirates, but that is apparently not the case. The pirates charged forward into the fight.

Then it’s down to a gun battle between the mercenaries and pirates. After the mercenaries take one skiff out another approaches, and then another. The pirates keep coming, seemingly out of nowhere, until the mercenaries take them all out.
