BREAKING: Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputy Killed

Stanislaus County, California – A Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputy has been killed Hughson.

We are receiving reports that a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputy has been killed in the line of duty.

Sgt. Anthony Bejaren of the Stanislaus County Sheriffs Department announced at around 10:30 AM that an officer was dead. The officers death was the result of an incident that happened during a traffic stop.

The exact circumstances that led up to the officer being killed have not been released.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to a critical incident involving a the deputy in Hughson early Sunday morning.
