Cop-Killer’s Sister, Regina Moreno, Proclaims His Innocence, Attempts To Cash In With GoFundMe
Regina Moreno, the sister of the justifiably-dead violent thug Joseph Moreno, is trying to cash in on her brother’s death by making a GoFundMe in which she proclaims his innocence. Joseph Moreno was killed in a gunfight while murdering hero Police Officer Clint Corvinus.
Initial reports stated that Alamogordo Police Officer Clint Corvinus and a police trainee conducted a traffic stop on Moreno on Friday. Moreno was wanted on several warrants and he ran from the stop. A short foot chase ensued before Moreno turned and opened fire hero Police Officer Clint Corvinus. The officer returned fire and both Moreno and Officer Corvinus were killed in the gunfight.
Now Moreno’s sister is demonstrating that pond-scum runs in the family. Regina Moreno started a GoFundMe page to cash in on her brother’s death. The page was quickly flooded with hundreds of people calling her out for trying to cash in on her cop-killer brother’s death. In the GoFundMe Regina Moreno stated, “My brother did not kill that officer.”
In order to help bolster support for giving her money, Regina Moreno has been trying to spread misinformation that her poor innocent brother had nothing to do with Officer Covinus’ death. After Joseph Moreno’s gang threatened to kill more Alamogordo police officers in retaliation, they started a rumor that Joseph was innocent. Regina has been trying to start social media campaigns to support the theory of his innocence, all in an apparent attempt to help her cash in.
Regina Moreno talks about Joseph Moreno’s criminal history being possession of a BB gun when he was 18 years old. She’s neglecting to inform people of his felony criminal history and that he has been in and out of jail for the past 15 years.
The GoFundMe campaign initially appeared to be floundering with almost no donations. GoFundMe then suspended the campaign when the premise seemed to be “Give me money because my brother got killed and I like money!” Regina then altered the campaign to be about paying for “funeral costs”, and totally not because she’s trying to get free money. GoFundMe then reinstated the campaign.
Since then, Regina Moerno has disabled all comments and has revamped the page to make no mention of her brother murdering a hero, and the donations have been slowly pouring in. While she can turn off comments, what she can’t turn off are donor’s comments. As much as we regret having to send a couple of dollars her way, we think that this was worth getting the truth out:

Regina Moreno can block comments, but not donor messages on the page.
