A false alarm of an active shooter at Penn Station resulted in people fleeing for their lives.
Video Shows Panic At Penn Station After False Active Shooter
New York City, NY – Masses of people fled Penn Station, fearing an active shooter in progress. Although there was no shooter, only the police department dealing with a violent emotionally disturbed (crazy) man.
Police were on scene with an emotionally disturbed person who became violent. An officer Tasered the man, and the pop of the Taser resulted in people fleeing for their lives.
For those who are unfamiliar, the pop of a Taser is about as loud popping a large bubble on bubble-wrap, or a small balloon. In the loud confines of Penn Station only those close by would have likely heard it.
The incident resulted in mass chaos. People abandoned their luggage and fled. Video from the scene shows luggage and other belongings strewn all over the floor. As the panic spread further, people could be seen fleeing out of the Macy’s doors.
Self-proclaimed internet reporters started to spread the panic on social media as they started live-streaming the “active shooter” event.
The crazy man was taken into custody, leaving the officers wondering where everybody went off to in such a hurry.
