Ohio Trooper David Robison’s Act Of Kindness Changes Man’s View On Police

Troy, Ohio – Mark Ross was devastated by the loss of his young sister and was rushing to be with his mother in Michigan when he was pulled over by Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant David Robison.

Mark Ross had just found out his teenage sister was killed in a car crash. He immediately jumped in his friends car around 3 AM and his friend began to drive him from Indiana to Detroit. As Ross’ and his friend sped through Ohio they were stopped by an Sergeant David Robison

Ross was aware of a warrant out for his arrest and could only assume that we would be going to jail. Ross’ friend’s vehicle was impounded and he was to be taken to jail in Wayne County, Michigan. But that’s when things took an unexpected turn.

Mark Ross began to talk about the loss of his sister to the officer and broke down crying. Sergeant David Robison, started to pray with Ross. Ross wrote on Facebook, “he reaches over and began praying over me and my family. Everybody knows how much I dislike cops, but I am truly (grateful) for this guy. He gave me hope.”

Sergeant David Robison wasn’t done yet, he was kind enough to offer a ride for Ross over 100 miles away to Wayne County, since they would not pick him up for the warrant, and bail him out, getting him closer to Michigan. On Sunday morning Ross posted the picture of him and the Sergeant on Facebook. That photo has now been shared over 100,000 times on Facebook.  Its acts like these that, more often than not, go unnoticed by news media who continually only look for the bad.
