National News Agencies Fail To Report On Assassination Of Police Officers
After two heroes were assassinated on Wednesday, some national news agencies didn’t think it was important enough to cover on their home pages.
As I spent yesterday trying to grab every update I could on our murdered heroes, I noticed something odd: Some national news agencies appeared to not be reporting on the incident, or their reports were buried. We are well aware of the different news agencies having bias in their reporting, but I expected that covering such a big incident would boost ratings and give these news agencies a reason to report on the assassinations. The people behind some of these news agencies appear to think that it wasn’t a story worth reporting on their website homepages.
Here’s some of what I found:

CNN reported on the murdered heroes.
1. CNN
CNN is notorious for intentionally altering their reports. They have even edited shooting video to make it look unjustified. CNN did actually report on the incident, as you can see from the above screenshot. Having trouble seeing it? You may need to zoom in a little. It’s near the bottom of the Top Stories in the left column.
2. NBC
I looked around NBC news’ website and found nothing on the incident. No mention of the murdered heroes, no mention of the suspect, nothing at all about what happened. I had to use Google to search for the incident on NBC News to find that they did actually report on it, they just didn’t place it on the home page of their site. I did find one police shooting article on the front of their home page though:

NBC news failed to report on the murdered heroes, but their front page showed information on the trial of a notorious officer-involved shooting.
3. CBS
CBS did report on the incident, with multiple reports coming in as there were updates to the situation. The lives of police officers are apparently more important to CBS than some other news networks.
4. FOX News
I was reading comments on social media claiming that Fox News and other right-leaning news agencies wouldn’t report on the shooting after it was determined that the suspect was a racist white nutjob, rather than a Black Lives Matter nutjob. Fox News, however, put the story up front-and-center on their site. Blue Lives Matter to the people at Fox News.
