Nevada Highway Patrol Gunfight; Trooper Shot, Saved By Badge

Las Vegas, Nevada – Shortly after 12 AM Friday morning, a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper was involved in a gunfight. The trooper was shot in his badge, which stopped the bullet.

The unidentified trooper conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which was occupied by three people. One of the people fled from the vehicle, and the trooper pursued him on foot. The suspect began to shoot at the trooper, and the trooper returned fire.

During the gunfight, the trooper was shot in his badge, which stopped the bullet. The trooper is said to be uninjured.

The trooper shot the suspect, who died of acute lead poisoning.

While the trooper’s badge may have stopped the bullet, this hero survived the gunfight because he is warrior who didn’t quit when faced with gunfire.

In an outlandish coincidence, a Huntington Beach Police Department officer was also shot in the badge at around the same time.
