It is amazing that in this climate of violence against and assassinations of our police officers, Democratic candidate for President of the United States Hillary Clinton has invited the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Eric Garner to speak at the Democratic National Convention this week in Philadelphia.

The shooting death cases of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown have been repeatedly manipulated by the Black Lives Matter movement, who have actively been forwarding false narratives and outright lies about these two shooting incidents. An under-informed, overtly biased mainstream media and our lame duck President Barrack Obama who is no fan of law enforcement; are complicit in maintaining an anti-law enforcement platform which has proven to have created a deadly circumstance for law enforcement officers nationwide. As a result, officer deaths have experienced a 72% increase over this same time last year; and if the officer deaths continue at this rate, we will have surpassed for the first time an amazing over 100% increase in murders of police over 2013.

Although the shooting death of Trayvon Martin was ultimately judged to have been a justifiable civilian self-defense homicide; the Black Lives Matter movement has sought to marry the actions of civilian victim George Zimmerman to other high-profile officer-involved shootings. The self-defense shooting of strong arm robber and police assailant Michael Brown by victim Police Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, was ultimately determined by the U.S. Department of Justice and its FBI to have been completely justified and supported by black civilian witnesses and forensic evidence. The BLM’s national chant, “Hands up; don’t shoot!” was a complete lie. It simply never happened.

To be both factual and frank, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown were in actuality two bullies and thugs who were separately committing violent felony crimes when they were each shot and killed by their victims.

In the Trayvon Martin case, civilian shooter George Zimmerman was acquitted of the homicide of Martin by a jury of his peers. In the Michael Brown case, Officer Darren Wilson was cleared by three separate criminal investigations. Forensically, there was never any credible incriminating evidence that Zimmerman or Officer Wilson acted criminally during their encounters. Both men were legally, forensically and factually determined to be victims and their assailants’ criminals and violent felons. There is no other truthful or factual narrative.

In my adult life, I have never observed as stark a contrast on the topic of law and order and America’s present and future as I have seen in analyzing the words, behavior and plans of Hillary Clinton and her Republican Presidential opponent Donald Trump. The narratives coming from the two Presidential conventions will provide the American public with an outline and road map of the future of our nation with respect to the future of crime, law enforcement, policing and our criminal justice system.

Factually, Republican candidate Donald Trump has consistently demonstrated in both words and deeds that he is supportive of law enforcement and the difficult and challenging mission of our First Responder community. Mr. Trump has expressed plans to move the law enforcement community forward in its task to serve the public; protect communities from violence and defend our Rule of Law.

In sharp contrast and factually, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, like President Obama has repeatedly invited leaders of the militant, Marxist and anti- police political movement Black Lives Matter into her camp and appointed them as advisers. Ms. Clinton has adopted anti-law enforcement BLM rhetoric and her speeches are replete with the BLM’s “Campaign Zero” new American policing plan to further hamstring law enforcement’s efforts to protect the public and our Rule of Law. This is not my personal opinion; it is a forensic fact that is easily researched by anyone willing to research Black Lives Matter’s “Campaign Zero” and then compare their verbal and written rhetoric to Ms. Clinton’s talking points. However, the mainstream media has yet to do this because they appear to be more interested in #journalism than credible investigative reporting.

Why, you ask would candidate Clinton resonate with the words of two Black Lives Matter mothers enough to provide them with a national and international platform to spew anti-police rhetoric and continue to forward proven false narratives about the death of their sons during the DNC? Why would Ms. Clinton incorporate the BLM’s Campaign Zero rhetoric and written plans to disenfranchise, diminish, defund and ultimately dissolve law enforcement’s stature? Why would she side with avowed militant Marxists and Black Nationalists who have called for the murder of police officers? The answer is simply because she has made a “deal with the devil” in accepting the BLM’s position on American policing.

Just like Hillary Clinton’s criminal behavior in compromising national security by exposing top secret emails to our enemies; candidate Clinton is behaviorally consistent in exposing law enforcement officers and innocent citizens living as hostages to violent crime in depressed inner cities; by siding against law enforcement in favor of political expediency. In exploiting the sadness and grief of two mothers living in denial over the tragic deaths of their sons, Ms. Clinton proves to everyone that she is completely willing to compromise her ethics and our safety to further her political ambitions.

What America desperately needs at this critical juncture in our nation’s societal evolution is a leader who can bring all Americans together as a unified people. The last thing we need is another four to eight more years of the racial discord and polarization that President “The police were acting stupidly” and “If I had a son, he would have looked like Trayvon” Obama has brought us.

No one in the law enforcement community is denying that police officers have made gross mistakes and a few have committed crimes against the minorities during encounters. However, the BLM movement, community activists, the mainstream media and uninformed, politically expedient politicians have completely blown this fact out of proportion. As a profession, the law enforcement community continues to be the most ethical, accountable and law abiding of American professions. Politicians, attorneys, judges, physicians and teachers fall far below law enforcement officers in citizen complaints and criminal culpability.

The behavior and rhetoric of Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton does not resonate with the law enforcement community and it never will. We have had enough. We are angry and increasingly vocal about the unfortunate direction our nation has been heading for the past two election cycles.

The formerly silent “Thin Blue Line” of law enforcement officers are America’s domestic security stop gap that protects our innocent citizens from the criminal and extremist elements in our society. We and those who support us will be voting for a strong law and order candidate this November and Hillary Clinton won’t be our next President if we can help it.
