Donald Trump’s Thoughts On Colin Kaepernick

Seattle, WA – Presidential candidate Donald Trump was a guest on a Seattle radio station today when he gave the host his thoughts on Kaepernick’s antics.

We’ve been hearing a lot about Kaepernick’s disrespect to the United States and police officers, and now Donald Trump has weighed in. The past few days, the internet and mainstream media channels have been filled with talk of the NFL player’s protest against “oppression on black people”. A protest that he performed by not standing for the National Anthem during a nationally televised football game. Just to reiterate what his problem is, Kaepernick stated:

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Some fans responded by burning their Kaepernick jerseys. Many people made angry YouTube videos denouncing his actions. Chris Brown (the singer that beats women and refuses to comply with lawful orders by Police Officers) supports Kaepernick’s actions.

Donald Trump on the other hand, thinks Kaepernick should get the hell out of the country if he doesn’t like it. In a radio interview with Seattle’s KIRO Radio, Trump says

“I think its personally not a good thing. I think it’s a terrible thing. Maybe he should find a country that works better for him. Let him try, it won’t happen”

Good point Mr. Trump.

Donald Trump isn’t afraid to talk about controversial topics, which has gotten him in plenty of hot water during his presidential bid. His opponent, Hillary Clinton, is unlikely to have the courage to speak up on Kaepernick’s disrespect to America. Many people in Clinton’s base of voters are supporters of Kaepernick, and Clinton won’t dare to offend them by speaking the truth on this incident.
