Corpus Christi Police Save Family of Ducklings

Police in Corpus Christi, Texas received a 911 call about ducks in the highway.

Officers Stacie Bruns, Jose Flores, and Rene Cruz herded the ducklings and placed them into a container for transport. The ducklings were taken to Animal Care Services before being transferred to the Texas State Aquarium’s SeaLab.

Police officers are constantly required to adapt and handle situations that they had never anticipated. Not only did this response save the ducklings, but it prevented any people from getting hurt by the traffic hazard that the ducks caused.
