CBS Makes Audience Think Chicago Torture Victim Was Black And Attackers Were White

CBS Misleads Audience About Chicago Torture/Kidnapping
CBS radio reported on the Chicago kidnapping and torture of a white man with a mental disability committed by a group of four black people. However, CBS’ report was clearly intended to deceive the audience into thinking that the victim was black.
A Reddit user recorded the CBS report of the assault and uploaded it. Here is how CBS described the attack:
The viral video of a beating and knife attack in Chicago suggests the assault had racial overtones. CBS’s Dean Reynolds tells us the victim is described as a mentally-challenged teenager.
In the video he is choked and repeatedly called the n-word. His clothes are slashed and he is terrorized with a knife. His alleged captors repeatedly reference Donald Trump.
Police are holding four people in connection with the attack.

By telling the audience that the attackers called the victim the “n-word” they were clearly implying that the victim was black. Saying, “His alleged captors repeatedly reference Donald Trump,” appears to be trying to push the narrative that President-Elect Donald Trump’s election is spawning a large number of hate crimes. In reality, quotes from the live stream are:

“This bitch represent Donald Trump! He deserve dis shit!”

During the two separate Live Streams posted by Brittany Covington (Herring), extreme abuse is captured of the disabled white man. The man had been reported as a high-risk special needs missing person from Crystal Lake, a northwestern suburb of Chicago. We now know that he was the subject of a Chicago kidnapping, after he was found disoriented by CPD officers in the 11th precinct and taken to an area hospital for treatment. After the Live Stream video surfaced, they were able to connect the victim and the four individuals responsible.
The four suspects are now being charged with a hate crime for the torture and kidnapping.
