Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was found dead Wednesday morning.

Los Angeles County, CA – Law enforcement officers responded to the home of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington Wednesday morning after he was found dead, hanging in his home.

The initial reports from TMZ say that his death is a suicide.

Bennington was married and leaves behind his wife and six children.

Bennington had struggled with substance abuse for years and had previously talked about having suicidal thoughts.

TMZ reports that Bennington was very close with singer Chris Cornell who also committed suicide by hanging in May.

Bennington died at 41 years old.
