BREAKING: Atlantic City Officer Shot, One Suspect Down, Two More On The Run
Atlantic City, New Jersey – An Atlantic City Police Officer was shot early Saturday morning when three suspects opened fire on officers.
Two Atlantic City police officers conducted a traffic stop in the parking garage to Caesars Casino. The suspects opened fire on the officers, shooting one officer. The officers returned fire, killing one of the suspects, and the other two suspects fled from the scene. At the time of this writing, they are still on the run. While the search is underway, Pacific Ave. is closed between Missouri and Ohio Ave.
The unidentified wounded officer is in critical condition and in surgery at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
