Sovereign Citizen On Traffic Stop Declares Police Have No Legal Authority, With LOL Results

A sovereign citizen at an unknown location in Canada got stopped by the police for using homemade license plates. He tried to explain to the officer that the government doesn’t actually exist while handing him nonsense legal paperwork. Finally, the guy tried to drive off. The results are what any reasonable person would expect, but sovereign citizens aren’t reasonable.

Sovereign citizens are people who think that reading internet conspiracy theories and manufactured legal nonsense is a form a scholarship. They use their nonsensical legal theories to declare themselves outside of the jurisdiction of any government, think that nobody can tell them what to do.

Often times, when these wackadoodles get detained by the police, they will react violently in “self defense” because they view government detention as kidnapping. Multiple officers have been murdered by these people who live in their own fantasy world. Thankfully, the officers in this situation were able to take the suspect into custody without any obvious injury.

Do you think that these sovereign citizens should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when they are caught committing crime? Let us know on our Facebook page or in the comments below.
