Sheriff Wayne Ivey: “Its Time To Fight Back!”
Sheriff Wayne Ivy of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, a county that borders Orlando Florida, is taking progressive steps to help embolden bravery and courage into the residents he serves. Ivy was on the scene of the horrific terrorist attack in Orlando that claimed the lives of 49 Americans.
He is tired of seeing people become victims, “Starting right now, our agency is revising our awareness message for our citizens. Our plan as a community and as a country needs to be: if you can’t evade or escape the incident, then defend yourself, and fight like your life depends on it because, it truly does.” He also states, “I personally believe that the only thing that can make this tragedy any worse, is to fail to learn from it.” Here at Blue Lives Matter, we absolutely agree.
Sheriff Ivey has been in Law Enforcement for over 30 years. His experiences extend the gauntlet of what law enforcement has to offer. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
Watch the video below and listen to his words, take them to heart, he is absolutely right. “It’s time to fight back!”
