Escaped Inmates Donnie Rowe And Ricky Dubose May Have Switched Cars
Putnam County, GA – Two correctional officers were murdered Tuesday morning by inmates Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose who then escaped. The pair have been on the run for over 30 hours and could be anywhere.
A massive manhunt is underway for the two inmates involved in the incident, Ricky Dubose, and Donnie Russell Rowe, who were last seen carjacking a dark green 2004 Honda Civic RBJ6601.
On Wednesday, authorities announced that the pair are believed to have stolen a white 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with GA plate BCX5372. The truck was taken from Morgan County but there is an extended time frame on the theft and it could have happened on Tuesday. The original Honda Civic has still not been found and the suspects may still be using it.
UPDATE: The Honda was recovered, we’re now looking for the pickup.
UPDATE: Unconfirmed – The suspects may have been seen traveling south on I-85 towards Lagrange in a gray Ford Taurus with Louisiana plates VSD448.
After their escape, it was confirmed that the suspect burglarized a home in Madison and changed clothing.

According to WFTV9, the murders and escape happened while inmates were being transported prisoners during a work detail.
The suspects stole the guns from two corrections officers, murdered them, and carjacked a vehicle. Both suspects are armed with 40 caliber Glock pistols and at large.

Donnie and Ricky,
I hope you are reading this. What is done is done. However, I am asking you to surrender yourselves to the nearest law enforcement officer as soon as possible. You made your escape, but you won’t be out long. Every lawman in the Southeast is looking for you.
Every citizen in the Southeast is looking for you. You may have help hiding out for a few days, but someone is going to snitch you out and then we will find you. There is no one you can trust…and no where you can go that we won’t find you.
You murdered two prison guards and carjacked a taxpayer. Why wait, spending hours and days looking over your shoulder and wondering when we will kick the door in.
Stop now, dial 911 and turn yourself in peacefully.
If either suspect is seen, DO NOT MAKE CONTACT, call 911 immediately.
