Officer Shot At Moments After Arriving Home

Somebody opened fire at a police officer in Arkansas early Saturday morning. Just after walking into his house, an identified suspect shot at the officer. Five bullet holes were found in the home. One bullet almost struck the police officer, and one narrowly missed a young girl who was sleeping inside.

Attacks on police officers are becoming more commonplace due to the false narrative being spread by groups like Black Lives Matter. The lies being spread by these agitators have inspired terrorist attacks on law enforcement. This shooting was most likely committed by somebody who was trying to take out a law enforcement officer.

In the current anti-police climate, officers need to be more wary than ever. Be especially aware of anybody who may be following you home or waiting in ambush.

America needs to get together and condemn these attacks on law enforcement. It is the height to irresponsibility for any person to make statements suggesting that law enforcement officers are the ones responsible for any violence against them. Even if you disagree with the actions of individual officers, there is no justification for the murder of innocent people.

    THIS HAS TO STOP.

  • Lisa Easterling Cofer

needs to be a felony assault with nothing less than life plus one year for ANY kind of attempt or attack on ANY LEO! Time to stop this BS right now!

    • GBD

It needs to be labeled a hate crime and add the death penalty to it. This has gone on far enough.

  • Sophie

If this keeps up, there will be no LEO’s anymore and these “Black lives Matter” groups can go out and kill each other. I am sick and tired of these people killing police officers. One bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch and I am telling the National Guard needs to get out there and control this crap. When they have these protests the Law Enforcement Officers should stay away and let them have at it. More times than not, when officers shoot someone, their lives are in jeopardy. The whole story never gets out. Just like in the Castile case, when the girlfriend starting her “live Facebook recording” it was after the shooting. No one knows what happened before the incident. All we know is what “she” said. We never heard what took place before he was shot, only what she SAID happened. Not the officer. So go figure.

    • David Harmon

You do not want to get the National Guard involved. Once you do that…then this becomes a police nation…you do NOT want this…because then it never ends. There will always be imminent threat…and the National Guard will always be needed. Please, never think of this again.

      • Arauna

The National Guard has been called out at times and when the crisis was over they went back to being weekend warriors. The police need support NOW, it is hunting season on them and a little help wouldn’t hurt.

        • David Harmon

With the current regime in office…I’m afraid that that isn’t the way it will work this time. And, you can call me a conspiracy theorist all you want…but, it only takes one time for us to end up in a civil war. Do you want to use preventive measures? Or, are you one of those headstone people that like to take care of things after the fact?

        • Andy Lowe

and We all remember Kent State

      • Sophie

Oh sorry did not realize you were an expert on this.

        • Sophie

I was talking about in times of crisis.

          • Donna

We need to be careful in how these ‘these things are handled Obama has signed an executive order that when (not if) he believes the US is in crisis can execute martial law. The Executive Order states at that time all military from across the world will come to the US to help enforce martial law. (probably why he’s visiting all these countries). At that time the presidency is frozen, there will be NO election and Obama will stay president until the “crises” is over. Everything you and everyone else own (any property, money, food, farm equipment, your house, cars, etc.) will belong to the government. People will be forced into slave labor to work for food and other necessities. This is TRUE! Look up Obama executive order martial law and it will go into more detail.

        • David Harmon

I don’t claim to be an expert. I’m a concerned citizen that fears my government. As you should be too. The current state of our government is in so much flux…that you should be afraid…very afraid.

  • newtiffen

Cowards kill children and people that are frail and officers that standout with their uniforms on. Terrorists are cowards and it appears these crimes are crimes of domestic terrorism and should be handled accordingly.

  • TM

Is it an identified or UN-identified shooter? Why is it so difficult to proof read these days?

The article indicates ‘identified’ but infers ‘unidentified’ throughout.

The perpetrator needs to be executed, as the perp is not worth the price of a bucket of cow manure.

    • ASYOUTHIA

Maybe identified as a BLM advocate but unidentified as who exactly the person was???

  • jenny carson

BLM in my opinion, is a terrorist group promoting
the murder of police. Not only in the USA, but also
in Canada. Now is the time to stand up and be
counted. Rally for our Officers and support them,
    or suffer the horrible consequences.

Bahahaha meant to shoot the autistic kid because he “was a threat” but doesn’t know why he shot the caregiver. Cops are trigger-happy more than ever nowadays

    • Thomas Cox

That is because they are being randomly shot…while I don’t condone what the officer did in this case, and believe he will be prosecuted, what is your recommendation to change the status quo???

      • ASYOUTHIA

Cops need to have military training on handling a weapon. Everyone that says, “my life felt threatened and all I could think of is going home to my family” the guy he shot 15 times was 60 feet away with a pocketknife

        • Thomas Cox

Cops actually get more training than the military and qualify more frequently on the weapons that they carry. I’m not familiar with your 60′ example…I am familiar with Michael Brown fighting the cop trying to take his gun…I’m also familiar with incidents like those shown in the video…some of these guys are dead…so after dealing with this or seeing this on a regular basis, please tell me you would not be a little afraid of not “going home to my family!”

          • ASYOUTHIA

Really? Cops don’t get regular training on weapons. All they’re taught is the PGAPT method. Pull Gun, Aim, Pull Trigger

          • jenny carson

Take a long walk off a short dock,
            BUTTHOLE.

          • ASYOUTHIA

Put some Destin on that butthurt of yours Jenny

          • Thomas Cox

I would recommend that you consider volunteering to participate in your local law enforcement citizen’s academy. Almost all police officers have semi-annual or quarterly training and qualification on their weapons, including pistols, shotguns, and rifles. Of course if you want to maintain your opinion without doing research, then you are part of the problem, not the solution.

          • ASYOUTHIA

Obviously it’s not mandatory or else we will have better police/civilian interaction. i.e. less pussycops

          • Thomas Cox

Well, it’s obvious you know bothing except what you see on TV, so why dont you find out for yourself…you might learn something!

          • ASYOUTHIA

Nope, I’ll just watch more episodes of Cops and judge without knowing.

          • Thomas Cox

Great, you’ll be in great company with the millions of others who will too…

          • Andy Lowe

You really think that’s how they are trained, let me burst that bubble. Depending on the state: to be full time on pay roll you must have documented proof of completion, can be worked part time until done, fire arms training was every 3 months for Feds & State, baton / OC & handler 12 every year along with CPR / 1st aide for adults and child. Most times you are a Rookie for 1 to 2 yrs, then there is class room which must be completed along with certification for everything short of wiping your own a*$. Most security companies must now have minimal 40 hr training and even more hrs of training to be armed.
It’s not like was 30 yrs ago.

          • ASYOUTHIA

Too bad they didn’t run the obstacle course every 3 months

          • jenny carson

Most shooters were BLACK, now you
know why they get shot. Anyway, if
they don’t like America, go back to
Africa. Hopefully Trump is the next
President and kicks their lazy Dope
            Dealing azzes out.

          • Thomas Cox

In the end, it doesn’t matter what the race is of the shooter. But what does concern me is the behavior leading up to the shooting which is most often rationalized or intentionally forgotten because of the end result. What we need is basic human respect…and those who cannot respect the American rule of law should consider moving elsewhere…

  • retbubbleheadss

SHOULD HAVE ALL STATES PASS LAWS MAKING IT A FELONY AND A MINIMUM OF LIFE IN PRISON OR DEATH PENALTY

    • David Harmon

No…I think you’re mistaken retbubbleheadss…I think that if you point a gun at an officer, the officer should point his gun at you and shoot you dead. No jail time…not death penalty…just headstone. End of story.

      • Andy Lowe

saves tax payers money. Our prisoners are given 3 square meals a day, cable tv, health care, sex change is wanted or completed if it hasn’t been, work in the garden crops plus schooling but those in the Scandinavian prisons is more like live at Club med that most corrupt politicians & those of influence end up serving.
