Governor Eric Greintens Does Obstacle Course With SWAT Team

Fredericktown, MO – Missouri Governor Eric Greintens wasn’t just at the Southeast Missouri SWAT Challenge to spectate. Instead, he ran the course with the St. Louis County SWAT team (video below.)

Mike Mohundro posted a video of the run on social media, saying, “Missouri Governor Eric Greitens took part in the Southeast Missouri SWAT Challenge in Fredericktown today. He ran the obstacle course with the St. Louis County team and did pretty good.”

Damn right he did.

Governor Greintens attended the University of Oxford as a Rhodes scholar and earning a PhD.  Greintens then entered the Navy on January 20, 2001.

After graduating from Officer Candidate School, Eric received orders to Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training (the basic SEAL training often referred to as BUD/S), and reported for duty. He eventually became a Lieutenant Commander and served four tours of duty overseas, including tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Governor Eric Greintens was sworn in as governor in January. This obstacle run shows that he hasn’t lost his edge, as he plowed through the course.

It’s nice to see a governor who isn’t afraid to show support for our law enforcement heroes.

Let’s spread the word that we need more political leaders like Governor Eric Greintens.
