Police have captured the suspect who murdered Detective Benjamin Marconi. He was being questioned by police as of 4:30 today.

Police reportedly located a vehicle containing the suspect and they initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. There was also a woman and baby in the vehicle. After stopping the vehicle, the police officers took Otis Tyrone McKane into custody as the suspect in the assassination of Detective Benjamin Marconi.

Detective Marconi, a 20 year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department, was shot in the head by a gunman while he was writing a ticket outside of his patrol car. There was a massive two day man hunt, and that ended today.

Detective Marconi, 50, was one of four officers shot in three states in what appears to be planned targeting of police officers. Detective Benjamin Marconi was the only one killed. A $25,000 reward was issued. It is not clear if has been claimed.
