Another National Anthem Singer Kneels While Singing, Goes on To Bash Police, And This Time The Singer Wore A Black Lives Matter Shirt
Miami, Florida – A woman who was singing the National Anthem at a 76ers and Heat game Friday night revealed a “Black Lives Matter” shirt an kneeled while performing.
In another disrespectful act by a music performer, a singer by the name of Denasia Lawrence opened up her blouse to reveal a “Black Lives Matter” shirt and kneeled while singing our National Anthem on Friday. This was done pregame before the Philadelphia 76ers and MiamiHeat played.

Earlier today Lawrence explained her reasoning behind disrespecting America:
“We’re being unjustly killed and overly criminalized, I took the opportunity to sing and kneel to show that we belong in this country and that we have the right to respectfully protest injustices against us.”
The problem is though, this isn’t anywhere near respectful.
Heat players stood side by side during the singing of the National Anthem with their arms linked. They later released a statement saying that they had no idea she was going to do this. Unlike the NFL, the NBA has a rule calling for all players to stand during the National Anthem.
Since San Francisco backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick decided to kneel during the National Anthem, this has become a growing trend for sports teams all over the United States. Some grade school coaches are even pushing for their players to kneel during the National Anthem.
Lawrence also stated on Facebook
“I have sung the anthem before but this time taking a knee felt like the most patriotic thing I could do. I cannot idly stand by as black people are unlawfully profiled, harassed and killed by our law enforcement over and over and without a drop of accountability.”
