Cannonball Run Officer Memorial In Final Miles

Cannonball Run Officer Memorial is nearing its final miles.

Cannonball Run Officer Memorial is nearing its final miles.

Our Law Enforcement Officers Are Almost There!

A team of officers have stepped out to raise awareness for our murdered brothers and sisters.  They are driving across country and need your support and well wishes!

Sgt. John Bannes and Sgt. Jason Hendrix are on the road, doing a ‘Cannonball run’ from the West Coast to the East Coast and ending at the National Peace Officer Memorial in Washington D.C.
“A “Cannonball” style run starting on the West Coast and ending at the National Peace Officer Memorial in Washington DC. We will obey all traffic laws in route to DC, while stopping at all Law Enforcement agencies along the route that have had peace officers MURDERED this past year. Patches from those respective agencies as well as surrounding will be collected and delivered to the National Peace Officer Memorial. We hope to raise awareness for the outstanding job these public servants do each and every day. Their KILLERS need swift justice. The Death Penalty should be pursued in all targeted murders of Law Enforcement! We created a link to donate.”

They are stopping at Police Departments along the way and obeying all traffic laws as they travel.  They’re tired. They’re hungry.  But they won’t stop their mission to honor their fallen brothers and sisters.

“Here is the message to the nation from this profession and our endeavor. This profession has suffered too many tragic murders this year. Our goal in this endeavor is to raise as much national awareness as possible to this tragic fact. This profession is about restitution. These murders should be prosecuted as Capital Cases!

Tragically, far too many families of this profession have been devastated this year as a result. The emotional and financial loss… is tremendous. Our goal in this endeavor is to raise the national awareness and let everyone know, private or business, not just the law enforcement community, that they too can help with relief for the families of all fallen officers this year.

With tremendous teamwork, in a short amount of time, we have partnered with several organizations to see this endeavor through to its successful conclusion. The Officer Down Memorial Page provides information about all of the fallen officers and the circumstances surrounding their death. Concerns of Police Survivors, or C.O.P.S., assists with the long term needs of their families. The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund honors our fallen officers in memorial at the national site in Washington, D.C.”

Let’s support these Heroes as they reach their destination tonight!
