Why Blue Lives Matter Is Demanding An Apology From CNN

You may (or may not) have noticed that Blue Lives Matter is demanding an apology from CNN for one specific despicable act. They aired the edited the cell phone video of the Keith Scott shooting to make it look like it was unjustified.

We need your help. This is not the first time that CNN has been caught editing video to promote their political agenda. The unethical actions of the CNN staff directly contributed to inciting rioting in Charlotte. Those riots resulted in the murder of at least one man, and a massive amount of injuries and property damage. CNN’s reckless editing is extremely harmful.

Irresponsible reporting contributed to the assassination of officers in New York, Dallas, and Baton Rouge when the killers were trying to retaliate against police for perceived injustices. There are consequences to editing video like this, and it may cost more officers their lives.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. We urge everybody, not just the supporters of law enforcement, but anybody who is disgusted by CNN’s actions to demand an apology and hold them accountable for their deceptive editing. That includes not just contacting CNN, but contacting every news outlet, and lettting them know that you want them to hold CNN accountable.

In CNN’s editing of the Keith Scott cell phone video, they specifically started the video with Rakeyia Scott telling officers, “He has no weapon.” CNN then cut out the extended duration of officers repeatedly ordering Keith Scott to drop his gun. The video went straight from Rakeyia Scott claiming that her husband was unarmed to officers shooting Scott. It was later proven that Keith Scott was actually armed with a Colt Mustang pistol.

You can see the unedited video here:

CNN’s edited version is here, hosted by Michael Smerconish (you may need to turn up the volume):

Are you disturbed by CNN’s editing of the video, and endangering lives, just to make a more sensational story? We certainly are disgusted, and we need to demand that CNN change their ways.

First, like and share this story on Facebook to spread the word of CNN’s dishonest reporting. Second, contact all of your local news stations and tell them that you want them to cover this story. Let’s not stop until we get an apology from CNN.

I’M THINKING CNN HAS PUT ALL IT’S EGGS IN ONE BASKET AND THE WAY IT’S WORKING LOOKS SUICIDE IF HILLARY DOESN’T WIN. THEY HAVE ALREADY LOST 30% AND MORE VIEWERS. 1ST TO LAST IN 1YR. NICE. PERSONALLY I CAN’T WATCH YOUR SPIN CHANNEL ANYMORE AND YOU OWE AN APOLIGY.

Let’s all start boycotting, that usually gets their attention. If you have cable or satalite they have a way of knowing if you watch them. We could also boycott their sponsors.

Ehh CNN wasn’t #1, hasn’t been in 14 years and they just had their best quarter in 8 years. Depending on which metric you prefer their either 2nd or 3rd.

I WONDER IF TED TURNER IS LAUGHING OR CRYING

I went to my local Fox staton and put the story on the Anchors page and asked him to report on it. I told him that it’s costing police lives and innocent lives. Whether he acts on it or not, I don’t know. But he has the story and the link to this page.

Smerconish doesn’t have a secret service protection detail. People know where he will be most Saturdays.

If Smerc ever decides to look back on his disgusting slide into liberalism the fact that he is now the picture of the anti-cop movement in 2016 against the backdrop of his work on behalf of Maureen Faulkner in the past should put a nice little bow on the package full of lib wet fish he has become that has been rotting over the past 8 years. This man used to be a conservative. Now zi’s struggling with pronoun choice.

Thank you. Was thinking the exact same thing. I used to listen to him on the drive into work in Wilmington, DE. He was good, solid. Then I wandered off to sport radio (sometimes I need a break from political talk, even if I agree with the host.) Then a few months/a year or so(??), I started listening to Michael again. And I thought to myself, that’s an odd position to take. Then again, and again. I realized that he’d become stupid. That he’d caught the liberal disease. When I caught that he was on CNN, I knew his liberal training had been completed. He’d become a Sith Liberal Lord. Loser. 🙂

I too had followed Smerconish over the years. He was a Ronald Reagan conservative for petes sake. He was Reagans HUD director for S.E. Pennsylvania, a more solid conservative you would not find.
I can tell you the exact time and reason he switched over to the dark side: It was in October 8 years ago and he went to see Obama give a speech and reception at the Constitution Center in Philly. The next morning on his show you could tell that he drank a giant dose of Kool Aid. He was so enamoured with Obama that he immediately began singing his praises. I told my wife that I think that Smerconish crossed over to the dark side and she agreed. It was all downhill from there, I could only bare to listen to him for a couple more months and then I gave him up.
I never saw a conservative cross over as quickly and completely as he did.
I do know that switching over has been financially beneficial to him and his Real Estate Maven wife, but I think the change was not just for financial gain.
Poor Ronald Reagan is probably turning over in his grave and is waiting in the hereafter to have a little chat with the boy.

we do NOT want an apology … no, we want prosecution of CNN and the people responsible for not only the incident, but the murders that resulted from their edited video, the property damage and all the other crimes tied directly to their misuse of editing and sharing over and over their lies!!

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Why are police and organizations who support police not suing for defamation of character as well as inviting violence and indirect causing loss of life? Seriously we need to petition that these news organizations are held accountable up to losing their publishing licenses for releasing falsified and edited information that is biased and not giving the entire story

cnn is the most crooked news agency and it will not change until we get a new president.
